- Recruiting for a qualified Architect to join one of the largest architectural and interior design firms in the North East, headquartered in Durham. Renowned for their delivery of bespoke, high-quality design solutions and groundbreaking constructions, they consistently meet and exceed client expectations, both locally and nationally.
The multidisciplinary team, comprising Architects, Building Surveyors, Interior Designers, Building Technologists, and Administrative staff, collaboratively spearhead the development of new constructions and refurbishments across diverse sectors, including Education, Medical, Hospitality, Industrial, Residential, Bespoke Homes, and Commercial offices.
With expertise spanning design, development, and management, they leverage advanced tools such as Revit, BIM, and CAD to craft intricate 3D visualizations and provide comprehensive support for planning applications, design project management, and beyond.
Position:
This is a full-time Architect role based in their Durham headquarters, with the flexibility of remote work after the provisional period. The appointed Architect will shoulder the day-to-day responsibilities entailing architectural design, project management, integration, and more. Their mandate will involve seamless collaboration with our team to conceive and execute imaginative, innovative design solutions that surpass client expectations. We seek an individual driven by ambition, dedicated to making a meaningful impact, proficient in Revit across all design stages, and ideally equipped with diverse sector experience, particularly in Education.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in architectural design and project management is essential.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, alongside a keen eye for detail and a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Education, Medical, Hospitality, Industrial, Residential, Bespoke Homes, or Commercial offices.
- Previous engagement with Heritage buildings, sustainability integration, and coordination of CDM practices is advantageous.
- Ideally, candidates possess 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, although this requirement is flexible.
- Genuine prospects for career advancement and progression.
- Strong organizational, creative, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Salary: Up to £40,000.
