Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious multinational consultancy client for the position of Project Controls Manager with a focus on Cost Engineering. This role is in support of an upcoming project with their esteemed client, a multinational specialty chemicals and sustainable technologies company. The selected candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this high-profile project in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient project controls processes are implemented and maintained.
- Develop and execute project controls strategies, with a particular emphasis on cost engineering, to monitor and optimize project performance.
- Provide expert guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to ensure project objectives are met within established financial parameters.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and client representatives to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Foster effective communication channels to facilitate alignment and coordination among all project stakeholders.
- Utilize industry-leading project management software and tools to streamline project controls processes and enhance project delivery.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects, preferably within the construction sector.
- Extensive background in cost engineering, with demonstrable expertise in managing project budgets and expenditures.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications such as PMP or CCP certification are advantageous.
