- Our client boasts long-term contracts spanning the infrastructure sector, partnering with prominent entities like HS2, Network Rail, National Highways, Combined Authorities nationwide, energy, defense, airports, and utility companies. Their remarkable growth trajectory, marked by multiplying revenues in just a few years, is attributed to the exceptional service and expertise of their team.
In light of this substantial growth and continued success, we're seeking experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of our client’s projects, particularly those with accreditation or experience in NEC3 and NEC4. Candidates will be based in Birmignham or Nottingham.
Joining their dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing diverse projects to fruition, valued at up to £20m+ across complex infrastructure sectors. You'll have the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary professional teams, foster client relationships, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing high-quality project and program management standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advising clients on project cost, program, risks, and issues.
- Leading and managing multidisciplinary professional teams.
- Leading communications and relationships with clients and their stakeholders.
- Producing comprehensive monthly reports including project programs and risk registers.
- Implementing effective communication tools and developing delivery plans for projects.
- Challenging the status quo and driving performance improvement in changing environments.
- A Project Management Qualification with APM, RICS, or similar.
- Experience in infrastructure projects and/or program management across the project lifecycle.
- Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in adopting and managing best practice Project Management techniques.
- Knowledge of pre and post-contract Project Management responsibilities, with significant experience and a working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with diverse personalities across our client base.
