Location: North East (with travel to Leeds office 2-3 times a week)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead a project in the healthcare sector based in the North East. Our client, a premier consultancy, is seeking a dedicated professional who can balance on-site responsibilities with regular collaboration at their Leeds office.

  • Cost Management: Including feasibility studies, cost planning, procurement advice, and final accounts.

  • Building Surveying: Offering project building surveying, architectural services, building condition surveys, and disaster management.
Sector Focus: Healthcare Our client’s healthcare sector team is experienced in delivering individual schemes and comprehensive programs. They bring expertise in master-planning, estates strategy, and business case development, ensuring added value and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage healthcare projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Manage project risks and facilitate solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide contract administration and consultant procurement.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Conduct post-contract duties including final account settlement and project reviews.
  • Travel to the Leeds office 2-3 times a week to work closely with the team and ensure alignment on project goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of various procurement routes and contract forms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in project management.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Leeds for team collaboration.
