- Our client is a large fabrication company servicing the Offshore industry from their busy North East facility. Due to recent growth, they now require a Mobility and Immigration Partner with proven expertise in global mobility, immigration, and relocation management.
The Role
Provide comprehensive support, specialist advice, and guidance to internal customers (individual employees, Line Managers, HR, and other key stakeholders) for relocation, immigration, and tax programs, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.
Your responsibilities include supporting, planning, developing, and implementing streamlined mobility processes and strategies to enhance the employee experience and ensure the effective and compliant deployment of UK workers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and alignment with global mobility policies and procedures.
Creation and end-to-end management of relocation and immigration processes and procedures.
Coordinate visa and work permit applications, tax, housing, and other relocation services for employees.
Support overseas relocating employees in sourcing suitable accommodation options and ensure a trouble-free transition to the UK.
Assist relocators with UK requirements such as registering with the NHS and local councils.
Identify and build relationships with a portfolio of trusted and credible local landlords.
Ensure immigration compliance in partnership with HR and adopt industry best practices.
Assist in the creation of policies and procedures relevant to overseas relocating employees.
Liaise with employees, managers, and external vendors to facilitate international assignments and relocations, specifically in the EMEA region.
Provide specialised support to employees throughout the relocation and immigration process, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to global mobility activities.
Identify, build, and maintain immigration and relocation vendor relationships.
Assist in broader global mobility initiatives and HR-related projects.
The Person
Extensive knowledge and experience in global relocation.
High level of knowledge of UK immigration laws.
Appetite for continuous learning and personal growth.
Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
Experience in immigration compliance and data tracking.
Excels in delivering efficient, compliant, and employee-centric mobility solutions.
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills with a business partner approach to relationships.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work both independently as well as part of the wider HR team.
Confident interacting with all levels of the organisation.
Builds trust, maintains confidentiality, and appropriately handles sensitive information with discretion.
Prior vendor management experience.
Thrives working in a high-growth and changing environment with an agile mindset.
Strong IT knowledge and skills.
