About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee a range of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be involved from the early stages, participating in the sales process and managing the project lifecycle, including tracking milestones, finances, and ensuring risks are mitigated. You will develop and maintain detailed project management plans, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with management systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Collaborating with the Senior Project Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Project Management accreditation (e.g., APMP) would be highly beneficial.
  • Significant experience managing complex projects, ideally within the marine sector.
  • A valid EU passport or right to work in the UK.
  • Proven leadership in project coordination, schedule planning, risk management, and financial control.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with experience in reporting and managing customer relationships.
Key personal attributes:
  • Strong initiative and accountability for project results.
  • Ability to manage financial impacts, risks, and project resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • A focus on team goals, sharing knowledge, and supporting the development of others.
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading global technology provider that is revolutionizing the maritime industry. We offer:
  • A dynamic and inspiring work environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, including attractive insurance and pension schemes.
  • Hybrid working arrangements for a balanced work-life integration.
Location: Gateshead
