- Mechanical Design Engineer – Offshore Industries
Location: Newcastle (with potential national and international travel)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering team delivering high-quality design solutions within the Offshore Industries. This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects across all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop technical solutions for complex engineering challenges, including concept and detailed design, calculations, analysis, and preparation of technical documentation.
- Own and deliver assigned work scopes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required specification and quality standards.
- Collaborate with and take guidance from senior engineers and project leads.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng minimum).
- Proven experience in engineering design and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- This role may involve travel within the UK and internationally.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
