- AJP are currently looking for Fabricator welders for the UK's leading independent supplier of forklift truck attachments and masts, based in Cramlington.
Full-time, Permanent
Duties include:
- Fabricating and welding components as per technical engineering drawings
- Single and multi-run fillets, burning and grinding
- Use of hand tools
- Assessing which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task
- Inspecting welded surfaces and dressing them for the best finish
Role Requirements:
- Must be fully qualified with a relevant level 3 in metal fabrication and/or welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions
- Inspecting completed work to verify that it meets specifications
- Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and adhered to
Highest starting salary rate will apply to certified coded welders (appropriate standard - EN ISO 9606-1:2017). Certification must be in date.

Hours of Work:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 16:00pm
Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
- Contracted hours are 36 hours per week
- Overtime is regularly available at an enhanced rate
