Description
Our client is a leading steel fabricator servicing the offshore industry and due to recent projects won they now require an HSE Inspector for at least 6-8 months.

The Role

  • To work alongside production & quality to get general ownership of the safety standards within the work area.
  • Someone who can show innovation and bring new ideas into the organisation, who can make proposals and then act to implement those ideas
  • Hands-on role - you'll be based in an office in a fabrication hall alongside the Supervisors
  • The aim is to change behaviours and build a culture around HSE
  • Refer non-compliance to HR if required.
  • You'll oversee the supervisors and the workforce from an HSE perspective
  • Liaise with the client, be involved in weekly joint client inspections, produce reports and action trackers.
  • Incident investigation, writing investigation reports
  • Generally improve HSE standards and behaviours
The Person

  • Ideally have experience of policing HSE in a fabrication environment
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum
  • Good experience of report writing
  • Qualified to at least HNC level
