Our client is a leading professional services company specialising in programme management, project management, cost management and consulting across various sectors including property and infrastructure. They're an international organisation with offices worldwide.
They are looking for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join their large and successful team in Manchester.
We are seeking an individual with extensive practical experience within Civil Engineering/Infrastructure and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of projects both pre and post-contract
Contributing to business development
Financial management of own commissions
Provide support on major project management commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
Preparation of contracts for commissions to comply with Risk Management policy
Ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Construction or infrastructure background in at least one of the following sectors: water, gas, power, rail, light rail/trams, highways, environmental, regulated industries.
Preferably degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, project management or surveying.
Chartered/Associate or full membership of an appropriate professional institution.
Proven experience in the Project Management of multiple multi-discipline engineering design and construction projects (>£10m Capital Expenditure).
Both site and office based experience on a variety of project types including civil and building infrastructure projects.
Extensive practical experience of administering contracts under NEC forms will be a distinct advantage
