- Description
We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Miller to program/set/operate a variety of milling machines, FANUC programming experience is essential, EZ-I guide being very sought after (Mazatrol understanding is advantageous)
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills & attributes.
- Familiar with the selection of correct milling cutters and grades
- Experienced in cutting a wide range of materials
- Easily Interpret drawings & tolerances in metric and imperial sizes
- Understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances & surface finish requirements
- Able to use all handheld precision measuring equipment
- Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment
- Work sizes vary from small components to large billets/plates
- Working safely at all times to company regulations
- General housekeeping duties
- Carry out recorded inspection documents when required

Working Hours
The role is a day shift only, with flexible working hours to suit
6am – 2.30pm Monday – Thursday and 6am – 1.30pm Friday
7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday and 7am – 12pm Friday
8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 1pm Friday
Should the business needs arise, a rotating shift pattern on a bi-weekly basis may be required i.e. 2 weeks early, 2 weeks back shift
Early Shift – Monday – Friday 06:00hrs – 14:00hrs plus overtime as and when required
Back Shift – Monday – Thursday 14:00hrs – 00:00hrs (shift rate paid at time and 1/5th)
The company supply’s precision machined components into the Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Architectural and Automotive sectors.
Quantities vary from one off jobs to several hundred off batches, in a wide range of materials
There will be an initial 3-month probationary period to ensure that the fit is right for both parties.
